Magnolia Santa!

Morning all! Yes I am still alive LOL….just had a manic week with no time to blog until now. What with crimbo preps, work and a few other bits and bobs going, I have just not had time to take pics and upload my photos of the projects that I have been working on….typical LOL

Anyway, here is a card that I have done for this weeks Simon Say Stamp Challenge, which is Christmas and Create4Fun Challenge, which is a Easel Card. This card is for Leigh, so not gone over board with the embellies cos no way does Leigh “do flowers” LOL, some men do, but Leigh definitely does not LOL. The image is a gorgeous Magnolia Santa, from the So Jolly Collection, deffo one to fetch out year after year, me thinks! The snowy fence behind Santa is another Magnolia image from a previous collection, and I thought it worked so well.......my lovely friend Jay Jay sent the stamp to me, thanks hun, :o)!

015

All of the papers and images are by Magnolia and the sentiment is Catslife Press. The snowflakes are made using a punch by Woodware.

016

I adore this image, he is such a sweet Santa, love his chubby cheeks, hee hee!

017

Ooooh and look at this basket of pressies, I wonder what’s in them LOL….oh I do love the the Magnolia accessories!

Right well that’s all from me today, got to get back on with the crimbo jobs, not wrapped a single things yet, still got cards to deliver and I have about a billion and one mince pies to make this weekend, plus a barrer load of fudge, fairy cakes, biscuits too……….oh joy! LOL Gonna put my festive tunes on me iPod and get cracking, me thinks! I can not believe how fast Christmas has come round, a week today and we will be getting ready to tuck into some delish turkey………woooohooo!

Going out with my pals this weekend end for a delish meal, Chinese buffet…..yum-o, we thought that instead of a traditional meal we thought we would do something a little different and I can not wait, been ages since I had a Chinese meal…….ooooh bring on the Prawn Crackers LOL

Enjoy your weekend, whatever you up to, hope that you all get to finish off your crimbo shopping if you have not already!

Sketch Saturday Meets Christmas Tilda

Afternoon! Well I hope that you are all well today!

Got another Magnolia Easel card to show you today, really enjoying making these and they are perfect for my special cards too. Now for this one I have used non traditional colours, and some Magnolia papers from the Yummy Collection. The 2 stamps that I have used are both Christmas ones, Tilda is from this years collection and the present is from last years collection. Don’t you think though that both of these work well together for, say perhaps a birthday card too, I will most deffo be using them through the year for birthdays and other occasions…..oooh I do love it when you can use your Crimbo stamps for other occasions too, hee hee!

The sketch I have used is from Sketch Saturday Challenge, moved the flowers over, hope it still counts ;o)!

Good Morning one and all! Well I hope that you are all well today!

Well I can’t believe how long it has been since I posted a Magnolia card………shock horror…..I am ashamed of myself LOL, especially when I still have some uninked Xmas Magnolia to use……I have been colouring Magnolia images, but just not had chance till yesterday to get them mounted up on a card. Anyway, I have been seeing so many of these easel cards around blog land, and I just had to have a go, and I loved making it! So nice to do something a little different!

I just love these Magnolia papers, the texture is just fabulous, nice and thick so they are easy to distress to match the already distressed sides of the paper. This sweet Tilda is one of my faves, so pretty, just love her hair.

Altered Christmas Tin

Afternoon all, hope that you are all well! Apologies for my absence again, still struggling with my asthma, but it is getting better :o), plus I have been doing some Xmas preps too.

Today I want to share with you an altered tin that I have done, using one of the Xmas Pink Gem Design stamps. The little boy stamp is called Holly Jumper Max and he is on special offer at the moment over at Pink Gem, with 10% off him along with all the other Winter/Christmas stamps, so if you want him or any of the others you better be quick LOL! I have teamed him up with little spot, just too cute! I have coloured my images with Polychromos pencils which I have blended with Sansador {OMS}

001

Materials -
ImagesSpot and Holly Jumper Max both by Pink Gem coloured with Poly Pencils
Papers – Doodlebug in stock HERE
Flowers, Ribbon and Buttons – Stash
Dew Drops – In Stock HERE
Tulle – In Stock HERE
Sentiment - Catslife Press and Elybells

Above is the top of the tin, the camera has not picked it up very well, but the whole thing is rather sparkly. The tin was one that Leigh got last Xmas with a hipflask and little bottle of Whisky in, so I thought that I would give it to him again this Xmas, with lots of his fave choccies in LOL…….its a fairly big tin, so it will probably cost a bomb to fill, Leigh likes Liquor Chocolates, and not the cheap ones either LOL, oh well he’s worth it having to put up with me 24/7 LOL

003

Well thanks for stopping by today, your lovely comments mean so much to me and I am very grateful for each and everyone.

Much love

Motivet DT Card

Morning all! Happy Saturday, hope that you are all well today!

I thought that I pop on today to share a card that I made using one of the Motivet Xmas images, I love this image reminds me so much of my childhood days LOL…….One Xmas me and my bro got sledges, mine was orange and Christian’s was blue…….gosh, that was when we used to get lots of snow each year…..guaranteed LOL! Now we just get sprinklings, and then it turns to ice or slush and its no fun…..just dangerous! One December, we got up on the Saturday and were supposed to be going Xmas shopping with Mum and Pop, and the snow was that deep you could hardly walk. I was mortified, cos I so wanted to do my Xmas shopping LOL…….even as a child I liked to be organised when it came to my Xmas shopping LOL. I begged my Pop to see if he could try to get the car off the drive LOL, and at the time we had a Siarra {it was the 80’s} and Pop couldn’t get it through to me that the next door neighbour couldn’t get their 4x4 off the drive so how on earth was he supposed to get our car off the drive LOL {the drive was a steep slope too LOL}…….so out came the sledges and off we went up the fields at the back of our house, we would be gone for hours, and would come back wet through, very cold, but we just didn’t care……you wouldn’t catch me doing it now LOL……I would be whinging ever 5 minutes that I was cold and want to go home LOL…….so weak LOL……

Anyway, here’s the card………the sketch I have used is from this weeks Motivet sketch challenge, there is a chance to win some stamps, so why not pop over and check it out :o)…..ya got to be in it to win it!
