Welll, I'm back!!!!!!!!...............but feeling like death lol!!!!

Hello one and all! I'm back from my dad's and we had a super duper time. This has been the first time I have ever been away at crimbo and I really enjoyed it. It was nice not to be the one always doing the running around visiting everyone on crimbo day and taxising people home and stuff (not a big drinker really so end up driving). Anyway's I came back with lots of gorgeous pressies with a few of them being some crafty stash *yeahhhhh*! I feel super blessed to have received the amount of stash that I did, cos to be honest the people buying it really didn't have a clue what it all was or what you did with it *laugh*. As I unwrapped each item there were little voices shouting "what is it, what do you do with it" it was sooooo funny.
I got lots of Magnolias, plus while I was away my new Valentines Magnolias turned up, so it was like getting another crimbo pressie on my return too hee hee. I got a lot of white card too, strange pressie I know, but a girl can't have enough white card lol! A part from the stash, I received lots of makeup, smellies, 2 bags, books, chocs, hairclips, perfume, cuddly bears, a rather large diary, scarf, cupcake note pad holder, an absolutely divine necklace from the hubster, bag charm, slippers (which the dog has taken a liking too lol) gosh I was very lucky this crimbo and I feel very blessed to have all these gorgeous gifts plus to have had my family around me too. I ate way to much too, and feel like a huge heffer now lol.

Hope that you all did well too and had a fab time. The only downside is that I have caught a stinking cold and with being asthmatic it has laid rather heavy on my chest, infact it feels like someone has sat on my chest lol! Anyway, hopefully when I feel better I will have some cards to show you, cos I'm itching to get stuck into some challenges with my new stash. Plus I want to tidy up my craft room and make it nice for the new year *smile*.

And Finally...........

........here are a few little note books I have made with my Bind it all tool. Absolutely love this little gadget, I have been binding things left right and center lol!!! I need to get some smaller wires and I think I should be ok, the ones I got were a wee bit big, but heyho not to worry! I think the first one is for Mum.
.......this next one is for MIL and .........
.......finally this one is for my SIL. The little charms on them are made from freshwater shells and Swarovski crystals.
Well that's it folks, I decided to keep the handmade gifts to just family this year, but next year I may send them to friends too. It's hard to know sometimes if others like handmade creations or not and I would hate to give them to people that don't like that sort of thing *wink* You can always guarantee that your family love whatever you do lol. Anyway thanks for looking and thank you for all your lovey comments, much appreciated!

Nearly There.........

Here are 3 bracelets that I have done for little extra crimbo pressies. The first one is made from Freshwater shells and pearls and Swarovski crystals. This one is for MIL.
This one is made from Swarovski crystals and the finest Freshwater pearls. This one is for Mum.
This one is made from Freshwater Pearls and Shells, plus sparkly Swarovski crystals. This one is from my SIL.

Hope that you like! TFL

And There is More!

Right this is a Birthday box that I saw whilst having a good old blog hope one night and I thought "lets have a good" The first piccie is of the box all closed up. For the lid I used DCWV paper and card stock from my stash.
............and this is what it looks like when you remove the lid and let the front come down. I have put some cards in the back and some notelets and tags in the front, all coordinating. Included is a little book so that you can jot down peoples birthdays and there is a place for stamps and a pen.
........here is a piccie of the cards, tags and notelets. I decided to use it as a birthdays box, but you could use it for whatever you like really, writing set, recipes etc etc.

Hope that you like it and if you want to have a go just let me know and I will pass you the link to the instructions. It was really quite easy to make and this one is going to be my Mum's! TFL

More of My Crimbo Gifts!

Right onto the next lot of goodies! Here are two watches that I have made for my Mum and MIL, as extra to go with their other pressies. The first one is for my Mum and it is done in her fave gem stones, Garnet and Ladradite. The spacer beads have Swarovski crystals in the center and I have finished it off with a Dragonfly clasp. You may need to click on the piccies to see them better.
This is a close up of the clasp.
This next one is for my MIL and I have done this in neutral shades and I have used Swarovski crystals an Swarovski Pearls. Again the center of the spacer beads are Swarovski's too, plus the flower clasp has them in too. My MIL is more of a blingy person to my Mum, hence all the sparkle lol!

A close up of the clasp

Hope that you like them, I have really enjoyed making these. Normally I just trot off like everyone else and get shop bought pressies, but this year I really wanted to make family and friend a little something to go with all the shop bought stuff, I just hope that everyone else likes it lol! TFL

Well, here is what I have been upto lol!!!!

Afternoon one and all! Here are a projects that I have been doing over the last few days, hence no challenge cards, sorry! These are a few little blessing boxes that I have done for my hubby, bro and Dad. I love this High Hopes Santa image, my only wish was that I had got it in time to do my cards, but never mind I can use it next year. I have filled these boxes with yummy choccies.
These 3 are for my two nieces and my best buddie, Keri. My nieces are not allowed a lot of choccie, which is not a bad thing but I couldn't let crimbo go by without a teeny weeny bit hee hee.

These 3 are for my Mum, MIL and ME lol,........well why not, I give some much away its nice to have one something for yourself hee hee *smile*! The penguin image is by Elzybells, such a cutie, don't you think? My choccie box image is my fave Penny Black crimbo image, I love it!

Hope that you like! Now I will show you my next project...........some much to show, so little time lol TFL

The papers, cs and brads are by Papermania, the sentiment stamp is by Whispers and the baby clothes stamp is a Forever Friends one, I adore it deffo one of my faves! I have distressed the card and paper edges with my distresser tool and if I could give this little gadget an award then I would, cos I LOVE IT!!!!
This next card is a rather bright and vibrant one!!! I don't own a huge amount of these cutie little FF bears, but hoping that will change when Santa has been lol! I do love this one though, such a little cutie, don't you think hee hee.
The cs, papers, brads and ribbon are papermania, the flowers are an X-cut punch and the sentiment is from a See Dee set. Again I have distressed the cs and paper edges with my Distresser tool.

Magnolia vs Stampavie - Goodbye 2008 Sketch!

Hi all! Well how are all of you today? Here is my card for this weeks MVS challenge, which is a fabby sketch for us all to get out teeth into. I have used 3 cutie magnolias for my card and have used teals and creams as my theme colours. I can't remember who the papers are buy, I afraid I think I accidentally cut the name off and then stuff in down on the card lol! The flowers are Prima and the button and brads are by American Craft and I have used a bit of raffia ribbon too(loving this stuff, so fabby to use). The swirly whirly is a die cut by Bosskut, the ribbon and CS is from my stash and the sentiment is by Hero Arts, I think it is so nice! Hope that you like it!

Off out today with my Mum, I'm taking her out for a bit cos I think that she is getting a bit stir crazy keep sitting in the house. We are not going far, just to her fave undies shop and to the new Yankie Candle shop that has just opened near us, and I think that will be enough walking for one day lol! Afterwards its off for a sit down and spot of lunch lol. Catch you all laters and thanks for all your lovely comments, your all stars and love you lots xxx

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 40 - Punches

Me again, here is my card for this weeks Cute Card Thursday Challenge. The challenge is to use punches, so being as I am in love with my MS Doily punch I have decided to use it for this challenge.
I have again decided not to use my cutie Tilda's, but opted for one of my Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit stamps, which I have to say are just divine. They come in sets and they ink up and stamp beautifully. The flowers are from Poppicraft, the brads are from the Range, the buttons are Woodware and Papermania. The sentiment is a Hero Art stamp and the sparkly thread is from my stash. I have used a mixture of DCVW papers from Spring stack.

On this card I have decided to decorate the inside and I am so pleased with how it has turned out. The butterflies are from Magnolia (couldn't quite make a card without some Magnolia hee hee!) The flower stamp at the bottom is from the same Joanna Sheen Messy Rabbit set as the 2 bunnies. The large flower stamp that I have used on the left hand side is from a Hero Art set that I have had yonks and I found it in my bottomless stamp box lol!
Hope that you like it, I am so enjoying making springy cards, it is such a refreshing change from crimbo ones lol! Thanks for taking the time to look and leave me comments, your all stars cos I know that your all super duper busy. Catch ya laters!!!!

Friday Sketcher Challenge 32

Good Evening all, hope that you have had a good Friday. Here is my card for this weeks Friday Sketchers challenge. Such a fantastic sketch this week, nice and simple to do, but very effective at the same time!
I have decided to have a change from my Magnolia's, and instead used a Lily and Milo stamp. I love this one cos she is a "shop til ya shop" gal, just like me lol. I have used some rather bright and vibrant papers, which are a download kit called "Tweet", love um! The flowers and ribbon are from my stash, and the brads are woodware and Papermania. The sentiment is a stamp from Dovecraft (those little 99p sets - such great value!)
To finish it all off I have distressed the edges of the the card and paper. Hope that you like, definitely a bit different to all those crimbo cards that I have been doing lol. TFL and TTFN

Mojo Monday Week #64

Hi peeps, hope that your all well and have had a good Thursday! Here is a card that I have done for this week Mojo Monday challenge. I have not joined in with this challenge before, and I really enjoyed it a lot, it is a fabby sketch and I know that I will be using it again soon. Right onto the card, I have used one of my beloved Tilda's and I have mounted her on pink cs from my stash. The absolutely divine papers that I have used are from a Digital Download site, but I can not remember for love nor money which one. There is not clue what so ever on the download itself, so if you recognise it peeps, feel free to let me know lol. I have used my scrummy MS Doily punch on the strip across the middle. The flower is by Prima, the brad is a Papermania one, the ribbon is from my stash and I have used a few little dew drops at the top and bottom. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the dots are liquid pearls and stickles. Hope that you like and thanks sooooo much for dropping by and leaving your comments, I really appreciate them all.

Quick update on Mum - she is home know and is finding it a bit hard, I think when you have had the security of nurses and doctors around its hard then to come home and to manage. She has been with me most of the day, and has been sat next to the Xmas tree on one of my dining room chairs drinking oodles and oodles of tea lol.........she can't sit on my sofa yet cos its quite low, and cant get down. The doctor is please with her progress and is hoping to do the other hip in about 8-10 weeks!.........well that's if mum will let him lol, I think she wants to see how she is and stuff first before she goes through it again. Anyway won't bore you anymore, but thank you all for your kind words and advice for my mum, thanks guys! Catch ya all laters!!!

Sketch Saturday Challenge #28

Afternoon peeps, hope that you are all well on this rather chilly day.......brrrrrr! I thought I would share with you my card for Sketch Saturday challenge this week. I decided to turn the sketch around so that I could use my giggling Tilda, isn't she just adorable! Anyways, I went for a pink and brown theme, cos well I just love them together, in fact my bedroom is in these colours lol! Mind you I like bluey teals and browns too and my dining room and conservatory are in thoses colours that may inspire the next card lol............oops off I go again waffling on about nothing lol. Right for this card I have used papermania dp, which I love as its thick and luxurious with like a raised suede bits (brown parts) and the swirly whirly in the top right corner is part of the paper and I decided to incorporate it. The buttons are American Crafts, the ribbon looking thingy up the middle I have made using my MS Doily Punch, just punched both sides rather than just one and I think it has turned out well! The flower is Prima and the ribbon and card stock are from my stash, and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I hope one likes and all! Catch ya laters peeps and TFL!

Card for My Best Friend!

Hi all, I don't know I'm just like a bus today, nothing posted on my blog for ages and then 3 posts in 1 day lol!!!! Thought that I would show the card that I have done for my best friend Keri. We used to work together yonks ago and have stayed in touch since, she is such a funny gal lol, makes me laugh I can tell you! Anyways, I have done this card for her in her fav colours, so hoping she will like it. For years I have always made her Me To You bear cards (using my bear die cuts), so this one will be a bit of a shock for her lol, but a change is as good as a rest, so they say lol! The image is Christmas Shopping Lola from a Pink Petticoat download. The papers are DCWV, card and ribbon from my stash, the flowers are from Poppicraft, brads are by Papermania, the sentiment is a Cuddly Buddly one and the special friend one is handwritten. The dots are liquid pearls and the swirly whirly is a die cut that I have chopped about a bit. I have distressed the papers edges too to fluff them up a bit. Hope that you like and thank for taking the time to leave me a comments, they make my day, thanks!
