Hi all, hope that you are all well.
Today is day 14 of the Magnolia Advent Calendar and it is my turn to host……yayyyyyy! Pop over to my Magnolia Blog for a chance to win a surprise gift from Magnolia……….be quick though, you only have till tomorrow to enter.
Most of you know that we lost our beautiful Labrador, Billy, and I would like to thank everyone for their comforting words and support you have all sent, it really has helped. Its been so strange him not being around and we miss him so very much, he has been a part of my life since I was 17 years old, so it has been really hard.
On Saturday my lovely, wonderful husband decided to surprise me with a new little friend, Teddy the very soft and cuddly Shih Tzu puppy. He is 8 weeks old and very much a handful already LOL
We have talked for years about having a smaller dog along with Billy, but never actually did it. So Leigh thought that now was the time to go for it, we couldn’t face having another Labrador so close to losing Billy, as its going to take time to come to terms with losing him, but it will be something to look at in the future when we feel ready. For now we have this little cutie to help us through and trust me when I say it was the best medicine in the world for a heavy heart, Teddy is such a little love. I have to say too, very very mischievous, worst then Billy was at this age that’s for sure LOL……….he is off to the vets tonight for his first lot of jabs, not sure what he will make of that bless him.
This is him with his new best friend, his little squeaky duck, its too funny to watch when he tries to rat it, the little growling noise is too cute for words. I was quite shocked how big Teddy is to be honest, it is hard to tell from this pics, but he is enormous for his 8 weeks. He was deffo the leader of the pack with his brothers and sisters, he was almost twice their size {so Leigh said LOL}. I think he will be a big lad when he grows up, his Dad was and it looks like he will be following in his foot steps.
As I was taking this picture he was trying to pull the blimmin camera strap, little tinker……….and those teeth of his are razor sharp and he is not afraid to use them LOL. We are not doing to bad in the house training dept he is pretty good, we have had the odd mishap….so keeping everything crossed it won’t take too long, I am really pleased with his progress for 8 weeks.
Well thanks for stopping by, I shall be back soon with some cards that I have made recently. Thanks again for all your lovely comments, you are all too kind for words :o)
See you all again soon, and I will share some more pics of Teddy’s adventures too!
Hugs Tab xxx
