Good Morning and Happy Friday to you all!!!!!!!
Yes, it’s Friday…..oh I so love Friday’s….yeahhhhhh!
Today I have a card to share with you that I have made for my Pop for Father’s Day {which in the UK it’s on Sunday 19th June}…….I have used one of the adorable new release images from Teddy Bo and Co….yes prior to this card I was shamefully a Teddy Bo virgin *hanging head in shame*……but those little Teddy Bea’s just get me every time LOL……I am not a fan of making male cards really, purely cos I just don’t have a clue on how to embellish it…….but yesterday I sat and thought long and hard to try to think of things other than flowers to use LOL……and here is what I came up with LOL
Don’t forget you only have a couple of days to enter this weeks Challenge which is Shaped Cards…..and also to enter for the DT Call as the same time……..be quick cos you’ll be gutted if you miss out :o)
I absolutely adore the papers that I have used, the colours are just delish….they are Raspberry Road Design papers and they are from a Collection called Vintage Peddler….and are perfect for men’s …..and ladies for that matter :o)
The yummy Seam Binding is from Creative Treasures…..Tracy stocks a divine collection of ribbons, lace and embellies…truly fabulous :o)
The little snail is a Sizzix Sizzlit die, that I have had since my die cutting days…..its amazing what you find when having a rummage, I must use my dies for often rather that letting them sit there gathering dust :o(….
The Stars and the Shooting Stars Border, are by Magnolia, that I inked them both with Walnut Stain Distress Ink……I love that they didn’t print as a solid colour, adds to the vintage look :o)
The sentiment is computer generated, using a free font called DearJoe4 which I got from HERE.
I have coloured the image in with Prisma Pencils and blended with sansodor.
The inside I have decorated using the image again, but lighted it and then added the Magnolia Shooting Star border again and a few gems too!
Well that’s it from me today, got to plough on with the Magnolia Ink stuff….almost done….she says LOL
Have a great weekend, and if you are going to Stamp Magic @ The Dome in Doncaster this weekend…..don’t forget to stop by The Hobby House’s stand, Jill has got some absolutely gorgeous stamps and embellies on there….truly to die for :o)
Hugs Tab xxx

Well your spell of 'thinking' certainly paid off ... this card is FANTASTIC! I often find that stars work well on a male card, SUCH a shame we can't put flowers on them though!!
